WiX v6.0.2 has been released
In early celebration of Labor Day, we're releasing WiX v6.0.2—a very minor bug-fix release. Rob suggested we could release on Labor Day, as releasing on holidays is a well-established WiX tradition. I provided documentation that the intent of Labor Day was not, in fact, to do extra labor, so we're releasing today instead.

WiX Online Meeting 298 Highlights
Today's meeting was the shortest we've had a long time because we had Technical Difficulties™ getting both Rob and me being able to talk on the stream. The distance between Washington and Michigan makes two cans connected by string mildly impractical. Nevertheless, we persisted and managed to triage a luckily-short list of new issues.

Deployment Dojo S2E3: Introducing Imports in MSBuild Projects
I'm obviously a bit biased, but I think this episode a great introduction to Imports in MSBuild. We not only dig into the mechanics of Import but also explore some MSBuild conventions and why the conventions exist.

Just a couple more months until Halloween season...

Deployment Dojo S2E2: Stay on target
The FireGiant Cinematic Universe added another character to the Deployment Dojo in Episode 2, the one and only Bob Arnson. David was away on business so Bob stepped in for our lesson on MSBuild Targets. We cover a lot about this fundamental MSBuild concept.

WiX Online Meeting 296 Highlights
It's summer here in the Northern Hemisphere and the angry day star is making things hot and sweaty. A great alternative is staying in an air-conditioned office fixing bugs and adding features to your favorite open-source project. You can also try fixing bugs and adding features to your favorite open-source project from the beach, but the sand gets everywhere.
