HeatWave v1.0.7
HeatWave v1.0.7 is available now for both Visual Studio 2022 and Visual Studio 2026. Included is support for WiX v6, including project and item templates and the WiX schemas that provide IntelliSense.
There’s now just one HeatWave for Visual Studio entry on Visual Studio Marketplace, for all supported versions of Visual Studio, rather than one per version of Visual Studio. Your existing install of HeatWave for Visual Studio 2022 will upgrade directly to HeatWave v1.0.7.
In addition to the normal curated collection of bug fixes, HeatWave v1.0.7 also uses themed project property pages. Forgive us our vanity, but we’re big fans of dark mode and now our WiX project properties are dark. Or light, or Bubblegum, or Mango Paradise, or whichever of the new Visual Studio 2026 color themes you’re a fan of.
