Setup Matters

Yesterday we had five bugs to triage. By the time today's meeting actually arrived, we had 10 bugs. If that trend continues, next week's meeting will be quite interesting...

Today we had six issues to triage and there wasn't much controversy over any issue, though a couple caused extended discussion, mostly along the lines of "what's going on here?"

On Monday, WiX Toolset v3.10 was released. The primary focus of v3.10 was to add support for Visual Studio 2015. However, we were able to slip something very important into the release at the very last minute: support for the updated ISO IEC/19770-2:2015 specification (better known as Software Identification Tags or SWID Tags). At FireGiant we think SWID Tags have an important role to play in software deployment so let's look at the support in WiX v3.10.

Logy from Labor Day grillings and the similar grillings of releasing WiX v3.10, today's meeting was brief, with only three issues to triage.

Today's meeting was a crisp half hour and focused, as one might expect, on the imminent release of WiX v3.10.
